2017 - 2018 Hockey Season

Hello my name is Eric Wing and I currently play sled hockey for the LA Kings. I am having this fund raiser to allow me to travel with the team for our 5 tournaments this year. My first year was last year and I had a blast. At that time I had my father with me and he helped with the costs. My father passed away on November 6th 2016 unexpectedly from a blood clot in his lung. The Kings help us as well with reimbursing us some of the costs after the tournament is over. I currently am on social security disability and home school my two nephews and do not have the funds to participate this year with out some help.

This year the first tournament is in Minneapolis, Minnesota in November. This is a tournament that is sponsored by the NHL. Here is a link to information on this tournament.

We have three more traveling tournaments to Colorado, Arizona and Illinois. We are also hosting one of our own in Valencia, Ca. The three traveling trips require a plane ticket to and from the event and a hotel room for 2 nights. The tournament that we are hosting does not require a plane ticket but a hotel is required. It averages out to about $600.00 per trip and we get reimbursed on average about $200.00 per trip by the LA Kings. We also have to pay $450.00 for the year of ice time for practice.

Without any help this year I will not be able to participate in these events. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Throughout the year I will be updated this page with photos, videos and results from the weekend that recently passed.
