Eric Rollins family fund

I am writing this on behalf of the Davis family, asking you to help their niece, my cousin, Maria and her husband, Eric Rollins. Through no fault of his own, Eric recently lost his job in Nashville. He and Maria and their 3 young children moved back to Louisville and are living with her parents. In early December, Eric started a new job and passed out on his first day. A scan showed an abnormality in the brain and an MRI confirmed a tumor so he was admitted to the ICU for further testing and treatment. Eric had surgery on 12/20/17 and everything went as well as was expected and he has since been transferred to a rehab facility.

The surgeon is adamant that they take things one step at a time. Getting biopsy/pathology results...and therefore knowing the type of tumor and having long term care plans takes about 2 weeks, especially with the holidays. So, since they have zero control over when they get results and what they will be- they are not going to focus on that today. Today they are focused on recovery and rehab. Due to the placement of his tumor, Eric is experiencing expected weakness (partial paralysis) on the left side of his body- and overcoming that is one of the major goals prior to discharge home.  Updates will be posted here.
