Epilepsy Research Conference

I have been invited to present at the 12th annual world congress on controversies in neurology in Warsaw Poland in March 2018. 

I am raising money for myself, my mother and a teacher to attend in person !

I've been conducting research on Doctor-Patient relationships and how it impacts patients with epilepsy for three years, in order to help patients with epilepsy and the neurologists who care for them. This research is important to me as I have epilepsy and have been dealing with this issue since I was first diagnosed at twelve years old. 

I have seen first hand how the relationship one has with their doctor can significantly impact patients. 

I am looking to fund the trip for myself, a guardian, and a school representative. All unused funds will be used to create a scholarship to allow other Yorktown high school researchers who would otherwise not be able to attend conferences such as these.  I know what it is like to be dissapointed and not able to go, so I am hoping to raise enough money to not only go but to help other students as well.
