Enmanuel Perez's Surgery

As you see his picture,  Enmanuel is in excruciating pain.  It is critical to surgically insert a divice to receive pain medication for his condition. 
Enmanuel is a 10 year old boy who lives in Esteli, Nicaragua and was born with infantile cerebral palsy plus spasticity. He needs medication  to calm down  the spasticity that is  bought in Guatemala and is extremely expensive.  This medicine allows his muscles to relax and for him to rest for 3 hours.  As he continues to grow, the pain spasms only become stronger  and more frecuent.
Recently he had a rhizotomy to try to control the spasticity but  the results were ineffective.
The solution,  according to the neurosurgeon Dr Huerta, is to surgically insert  a baclofen pump to keep his body from the continuos contracciones.
 Surgery and treatment has to be done in Costa Rica, since Nicaragua  is not adequately medically for this procedure, only adding to the cost.
