Michele and Adam English narrowly escaped from their flooding home with their 3 young boys when Hurricane Florence caused the creek behind their house to overrun its banks in a flash flood. The insurance company has already been called and they have said they are not covering any of the damages through their homeowners' policy. Adam and Michele will be doing their own demolition and clean-up and have to pay for all of the recovery process from their own funds.

In order to repair their home to be habitable, they will at a minimum need to pay for the rental of a debris container, replace all the drywall, insulation, floors and siding, and replace furniture. Because there is a high risk of mold throughout the entire house (even in the parts not touched by water) it'll be quite an undertaking to make their house safe, sanitary, and functional once again.

It's a big, expensive, overwhelming task ahead of them, but with all of us together, we can help the English family rebuild their home and restart their lives.

Any amount will help and make this catastrophe a little more manageable for Adam, Michele and their boys. Every dollar given is so appreciated and will go directly to the English family for their home repairs.
