Forced Marriage, Hidden Disabilities Rare Disabilities and Police Brutality cannot stop Q dreams of Music and Chess
As a teenage mother due to forced marriage at age 17 years old , I face three daunting challenges:
1. Saving my son's life: Q (sphume) was born free in South Africa with a paralyzing very rare disease called Anterior Pituitary Hypoplasia , this is a rare medical condition that affects the brain part called pirtuitary gland . Q does not produce any hormones in his body since birth, I had to inject him everyday with each hormone his body cannot produce . As acjold he did not understand why i am causing him so much pain everyday of his life. Yes he cannot produce his own hormones. This is the reality of our lives and the side of my story you never knew.
Q is a very lucky to have supportive mother , who is his advocate and main supoort structure. I will never let my son suffer alone. I hope you can join me in supporting this bright young man's clear dreams .
Q is a very strong and determined young man to have lived this long with this disease . He is the strongest and resilient person I know. It does not make him weak or less human to be diagnosed with such a rare disease and his diagnosis does not give anyone a right to ve abusive behavior over him and his human rights . Q is my advisor , he studied accounting , he has so much wealth of kmowledge if people stopped judging him and see him for wo he is . 2. Fighting societal norms: Forced marriage and police brutality perpetuate suffering for people with hidden disabilities and rare diagnoses. Just because the Pirtuitary gland is inside the brain , you cannot see it does not mean he is well. He has a broken nose and bones from severe police brutality and stigmatisation.

Patiets with anterior hypoplasia have a hidden disabilities which are invisible , the society tend to place high expectations on people living with hidden disabilities like Q and if he cat meet their expectations they demonise him, blame him or critisize him for things he cannot control , the abuse of people living with hidden disabilities is unbearable . If someone's body functions differently than yours : Let's show compassion instead of breaking them down . Those wo are close to hom see him being confident , standing up for himself and forget that he is putting 10 times the effort than the ordinary person.The awareness will help us, Stop the abuse of people with hidden disabilities like Q who is stigmatised by everyone from his families , some of ny frieds judge my son a lot its paralysing that each timei have to correct them , our african community are worse at not wanting to understand that Q was born differently though he looks and sound like you hisbrain is lacking a gland pirtuitary , doctors are not all aware of this disease some think it's a excuse until they see CT and MRI Scans , community, police, legal system, psychiatrists and even the society . The lack of knowledge of this disease make it hard to be believed that it truly exists. We just wat to have a peaceful life free of constant worry about what others think of us becauee of our experiences with we never chose

Q is a giver , donor himself and a philanthropist, wgi has done a lot for African community in silence, he has been donating school shoes to the communities in need, something he never wanted me to talk about as he believed giving should be dome I private. Here are his pictures in a school shoes factory in Durban which he found , payed and delivered shoes himself to Bothas Hill Primary School , a teacher who recieved this donation from this school was Ms Vinjelo,Mam Ndelu (who was my primary scholarship mates teacher at siyajabula high school ) and there is a formal letter of gratitude from the school senior management.

I face a lot of discrimination, judgements , high expectations , high societal demands I can't keep up with because I am born different than all of you. I did not chose ro be born thos way . Police Brutality
The police pressed his arm on the hot summer tar and he sustained burns as evidenced in this photograph. We are ending this cycle of abuse of people with hidden disabilities. There is no reason to treat anyone in such a manner police banged his head on the tar road and sustained these injuries. No one deserves this brutality . We should call it out and demand justice Now!
