Welcome to Emmy's Butterfly (Thyroid Cancer) Fund. Hello, my name is Raul. My wife (Emmeline Sonson Buenrostro aka Emmy) and soul mate of 16 years had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. We were in shock when we found out about this. After numerous biopsys our doctor recommended surgery sooner than later. Our insurance covers a portion of the cost for surgery, doctor visits, treatment/recovery, etc. Due to unforeseen expenses we are asking all of our dear friends and family for any assistance and help. Emmy will be off of work for a long period of time and we are unsure when she will be fully recovered because recovery times vary. We are not sure how we will be able to pay for our bills considering we are both working parents and are struggling a bit already. I will be looking for a second part time job to make things a bit less difficult financially. However, we still need any help or assistance from you, family and friends can provide, every bit helps.
