Senior Year|University of New England

Thanks to those who have donated so far I have been able to pay my fall tuition by the deadline, and have successfully enrolled in spring courses. Now there is only a remaining $1090 that must be paid by May so I can participate in graduation! I know that $1090 is a lot for one person to pay, but if all of us can chip in a small amount, I know this goal can be reached. Great things can be achieved when we all work together.

Graduating from college has been a lifelong goal of mine; I worked an entry level position as a lab technician for 6 years, and then cashed out my 401k to launch me into my educational career. I have been awarded three scholarships, and two federal loans, but there is still a large remainder of my tuition that needs to be paid each year. I have managed to pay off my previous years with though hard work and monetary help from my parents and my grandfather (Thank you!), but there is just a small amount left. Due to me and my family's unique financial situation I am not able to secure a student loan, or a personal loan to pay for the rest of senior year.


I am a psychology major- MHRT-C track, with aspirations of becoming a clinical psychologist. I am attending the University of New England, and am on the Dean's list. My GPA is 3.44. I am currently successfully completing 19 credits for the fall semester, and I am interning at RiverRidge a Neurorehabilitation facility, in Kennebunk Maine, assisting adults with acquired brain injuries. Because of my success during this internship, once it is over, I have been offered a per diem position as rehabilitation technician! I find great pride, joy, and meaning in the work I do, and my goal to become a clinician.


Becoming a compassionate, caring, empathetic therapist is my lifelong goal, please help me get there.


If I don't pay UNE at least $1600 by May, I will not graduate.
