Introduction
Two years ago, Eldon Golden, one of our parishioners and an Uprising Minister, suffered a heart attack and not one, but two strokes, He was left unable to work and needs your immediate financial help.
Background
Eldon’s second stroke was debilitating and resulted in loss of balance and Aphasia, an inability to comprehend or formulate language. (Eldon continues to receive physical therapy and speech therapy.)
Next blow was the diagnosis of colon cancer. The treatment included multiple rounds of Chemotherapy and Radiation, as well as surgery and a colostomy. Several months later was another surgery; this time to reverse the colostomy.
His Challenge
Eldon’s lack of income continues. He is medically unable to work, his disability claim was denied, and the long appeal process is still in process. The situation is now dire. His vehicle is at risk of immediate repossession, and there is no money for car insurance, housing, existing debts and incidental needs.
