El Salvador Mission Trip

Dear Friends and Family,

This August I will be embarking on a mission, doing something I've had a heart to do for quite a while. Along with a small group from Red Rocks Church in Golden, Colorado, I will be headed to El Salvador to drill a well and build a filtration system for a village that currently does not have access to clean water.

We will be working with an organization called "Living Water International" (www.water.cc). Over the last 20 years this organization has completed more than 9,000 water projects worldwide and is involed with drilling new wells and repairing old wells in Central and South America, Africa and Asia. I have been blessed to be selected as a member of their team going to El Salvador this August.

Each team member is responsible for raising $2,000 to cover travel, room and board, shipping of equipment, educational materials and support of ongoing efforts within the area, where we will be based. The purpose of the fundraiser is to build awareness of the water situation in developing countries and to build a sense of community. If I am able to reach my goal any amount that exceeds the $2,000 will be donated to Living Water International to help fund materials and future trips.
