Respected Non-Resident Indian (NRI) community living in the United States,

 

The NRI Indian community living in the United States had consistently demonstrated a great spirit, an unshakable unity, and an unflinching fortitude at times like these.

 

This letter of appeal comes out of a sudden and unforeseen situation. One of our young Indian scholars, driven with the ambition to pursue higher studies, went to this great land of Life and Liberty. He was pursuing his Master's program in Engineering at Gannon University in Erie, Pennsylvania. Amidst the roaring currents of life here in America, torn between the big dream and financial pressures, he had succumbed to death. He was found dead in his apartment. We firmly believe that this is not a suicide case, but a sudden unfortunate natural death.

 

At this point, we sincerely and most earnestly appeal to one and all to extend every courtesy possible to help out in the arrangements of sending the mortal remains to Hyderabad, India, for the family to have a time of grieving and full closure. Towards this end, we would sincerely appreciate the leadership of the Indian government their representative offices here in America (Indian Embassy / Indian Consulate Office) to expedite financial help to facilitate the graceful flow of the operations/arrangements from a funeral home in Erie, Pennsylvania to Hyderabad city in India.
