Dearest Friends: Recently, I received the wonderful news that I was accepted into
the Tamalpa Institute
and now I need your support in making my life's calling a reality. My work as a performance artist centers around finding self-healing and the desire for wholeness in this fragmented society. This program will help me to expand
this exploration of healing through movement and performance by learning and sharing
The Life-Art Process
which is an integrated approach that explores the wisdom of the body expressed through movement/dance and imagination [using] artistic processes and media to explore and deepen our relationship to psychological life, to social issues and to creativity itself. The Tamalpa Institute is an internationally recognized, ground-breaking training program in movement-based expressive arts education and therapy for people who wish to incoporate
embodied creativity through the arts into their personal lives and professional practices. This work was originated in the 1950's by Anna Halprin, who is among the first pioneers in the contemporary Western world to use dance as a healing and transformative art. In the 1970's, Daria Halprin further developed the artistic and therapeutic aspects of this work and articulated the methodology. I was accepted into the Level 1 Weekend Training Program, which takes place one weekend every month for a year in San Rafael, CA. Upon the completion of Level 1 Training, I will be able to continue my studies in order to receive a certificate as an Expressive Arts Therapist. The cost for the program is $5,000 and any help you can give towards this will be very appreciated and a special prayer of thanks will be made on your behalf. With a $25 donation you will receive a specially designed Tarot postcard (pictured below) to help manifest your wishes through the Universe!
With a $100 donation you will receive a beautiful, hand-made, positive energy rejuvenating, quartz crystal necklace on your choice of a leather cord or ball chain! PLUS the Tarot Postcard!
With a $200+ donation receive an original poeme along with the other 2 prizes from the Love and Quartz Levels!
With a $3,000 donation you get your choice of either a slow dance to a love song or a personal expressive arts workshop in real or virtual life and I get to payoff the Tamalpa Institute!
