Eddie Kirmss' Fund

Forty years ago Eddie Kirmss met his wife Barbara and since that day they have never been apart.  The high school sweethearts have been married for over 34 years and are blessed to have 2 sons in college.

Today Eddie faces stage 4 lung cancer and has several tumors on his spine that are leaving him partially paralyzed.  His cancer is inoperable and both Eddie and Barb know that his future is in God’s hands.  This new reality is difficult to face, especially for a man that has always provided for his family.

A gifted and talented artist, craftsman and musician, Eddie’s greatest gift from God has been his ability to envision an idea or project and bring it to fruition.  From customizing motorcycles that have been featured in EZ rider magazines to restoring historical homes and automobiles, Eddie’s creative talents were always sought after.   Many of Eddie’s restorations are in European publications.  Though all of these talents had provided Ed and his family a “jet-set” lifestyle, Ed felt something was missing.   He felt as though God was prompting him to live a simpler, more family-focused lifestyle.   So, 15 years ago, Eddie and family gave it all up and moved to Seneca, South Carolina.  Now Barb could stay at home and homeschool the children and Ed could have his own construction business.  With the economic crash of 2008, the construction business dried up and money became tighter; but Ed does not regret putting his family first.

Being self-employed, there is little insurance and charges are adding up.  Eddie is hospitalized, Barb is by his side and just being able to pay the day-to-day bills is a daunting reality.  We believe that God will provide for all of their needs and one way will be through this page.

If you feel lead to give, ANY amount will be appreciated.  God bless the people who read this page and thank you and thank God for His everlasting Love!
