Funeral Services for Daddy

Donation protected
Hello everyone, Many of you know and love my father, Edward Colvell. I'm deeply hurt to say it, but my mother, brothers and I have said Goodbye to Daddy. Aside from a brave Vietnam Veteran, Local 66 Union Member, and an incredibly strong, decade- long Cancer Survivor, Eddie was a caring husband, son, brother, uncle, and above all, a compassionate, loving father of 4. It's important to note that after all these years, it was not the cancer that got Daddy in the end. Dad has made it clear to us over the years that if this situation arose, he did not want to be kept on a ventilator so we are respecting his wishes and beginning arrangements to be completed this week. Dad has had many scares throughout his battle but always came back stronger, so we did not see this coming. we all hoped and prayed he'd come home again this time like so many times before but unfortunately God has other plans for him. Daddy was ultimately the glue that held us all together, always smiling and joking his way through therapies and treatments. Dad was incapable of being stressed, he did not let himself become a victim of the cancer, always maintaining his character as what defines him,not his disease. He was a hero to each one of us individually, a fighter till the end. Our family is very much struggling for funds to properly pay respects to Dad's final farewell. If you could find it in your hearts to donate, even the smallest amount would help and would be appreciated beyond belief.
