Ease Eric's End - Cystic Fibrosis

《《《BASIC INTRODUCTION》》》 This campaign is an extremely determined effort to support a 31-year-old Cystic Fibrosis patient named Eric & his struggling family. For 31 years Eric & his family have been intensively battling his numerous chronic illnesses, most of which revolving around his Cystic Fibrosis. Eric's lungs have been repeatedly failing, & after many weeks in the ICU amidst intubation for 2 weeks (breathing tubes in lungs, ventilator support, sedation, etc) and then extubation (removal of breathing tubes & ventilator support) - the result was unsuccessful. The focus has now shifted to end of life care to provide a comforting end to what his leading Cystic Fibrosis medical team strongly believe to be his final battle he will endure. 《《《FIRST THINGS FIRST》》》 My name is Brian - I am Eric's 20-year-old brother & spokesperson. I will be putting all my heart & soul into organizing this campaign to support my incredibly amazing brother as this battle of his nearingly comes to a close. First things first, I want you to know something - just the simple fact that you are taking this small amount of time from your daily life to read these words I am writing to you - brings me genuine appreciation from everything within me. I most certainly understand not everyone can afford to donate a significant amount, no matter how great the cause. The word significant, however, is open to interpretation. To Eric, myself & the rest of Eric's family - any support received is indeed significant no matter what the degree of support. It is significant to us not only due to our sincere appreciation - but also significant to think we all as humans can unite together towards achieving a common cause.
