Our Cause...


We are Tamara Pickard and Donna Woodrow and we are bringing The Enneagram Prison Project (EPP) to Australia. The EPP is a Not For Profit organisation, founded in the United States in 2012, that has been teaching the incarcerated to understand why we do what we do, using the Enneagram - with great results. The Enneagram is a psychological system for understanding personality.

The short video above gives an introduction to the EPP - the program that we are bringing to Australia. 

By learning their Enneagram personality type and engaging in the deep work of self-study and self-regulation, our incarcerated students can understand and therefore change antisocial attitudes, emotional outbursts, and ultimately risky behaviours.

OUTCOMES | Encouraged by the overwhelming receptivity to the program by both students and correctional staff in California, with the support of the institutions in November of 2015, Enneagram Prison Project (EPP) calculated their recidivism rate of 5.35% in Santa Clara County jails and 10% in San Mateo County jails for our Californian graduates. None of the students who took the EPP program more than once recidivated. EPP has proven impact.

We have been approved by EPP as a Global Affiliate. We are now ready to launch and develop the Enneagram Prison Project in Australia.

Your Donations will help us to...

1. Setup the Legal Structure of the EPP Australia, so that it is a recognised Not For Profit Organisation.

2. Fund the training that is required for the Program Facilitators to deliver the EPP Programs in Australian Prisons.

3. Fund the physical resources that are required for running the programs. (Books, manuals etc.)

Who this will benefit...

We believe the EPP can help to benefit the entire community. We will be working directly with the incarcerated to positively transform their lives, and increase their self-awareness. As the students are impacted, so are their families and the communities into which they ultimately reintegrate.

A little more about us...

You might be wondering how we got to where we are. Well, we are sisters, and we are also the Managing Directors and Partners of Modo Coaching & Training.  One of our primary areas of business is coaching and training with the Enneagram. We work with individuals and organisations to facilitate Psychological, Spiritual and Professional development by using the Framework of the Enneagram. 

We consider ourselves to be standing on the shoulders of giants, and because life has blessed us with many gifts, we are excited about the opportunity to develop the EPP Australia and give back to the community!

We believe so strongly in this cause so we have funded our own training as EPP Facilitators. We attended intensive 8-week training with Susan Olesek which ended with an in-person practicum in the prisons of California.
