Dear El Paso Leadership Academy Friends and Family,
On behalf of our middle school scholars, I hope this finds everyone well. We are a grassroots college prep charter school in the heart of El Paso, Texas. We educate the most deserving scholars from throughout our great city, and our leaders will take their rightful place in the world as future four-year college graduates.
For 2017-2018, in our fourth year of operation, we hope to meet the demand of our scholars and families by offering at least three competitive sports: basketball, volleyball, and soccer. We have no indoor or outdoor facilities or nearby parks, so we intend to use our expansive asphalt courtyard to stage all three seasonal sports.
We are asking for your support of our scholars to cover the costs of two mobile volleyball poles, one net, and six volleyballs ($1,100), three basketballs and one steel backboard with rim ($600), 100 agility cones, three ball bags, two volleyball score cards, eight soccer balls, and two goalie nets ($300).
