Dear Friends and Family! URGENT REQUEST!
I am asking for your support of a $5-$10 donation!
This Fundraiser will benefit EMS (Emergency Medical Services) in Dombovar a small town in Hungary.
The funds will be used for improving the local service with new equipment. There is an urgent need for Emergency Equipment. My goal is to raise $3000, this must be done by April 6th, 2018!
Your support means the world to me and my family in remembrance of my father!
As most of you know, my dad had exited this earthly form of life on July 17th, 2017 only 5 days before his 70th birthday. His sudden passing of this realm left us devastated, sad but also with a lot of questions. One is which, could he have been saved if he is in the US at that time?
I don't know for sure, but I know that health care is much more expensive here than in Hungary, but also you get quality for the cost.
I was very saddened to know that EMS does not carry medication in their truck unless they have a Paramedic or a physician on board, which small towns like my parent's don't have. I know thinking about what if's does not bring my dad back and I also know he had a beautiful death. Everything was perfect. He was happy the morning of his passing, he collapsed at a place where he loved spending time, and he was exited planning his mini Birthday Party with his siblings (he had no idea about the surprise birthday party we had planned for him for that weekend). He was also looking forward returning to the US for my brother's wedding in the following month. He had a smile on his face while EMS was trying to save him. Everything happens for a reason. My reason now to do something important in the memory of the greatest man I new.
With this fundraiser I very much would like to remember my dad as a giving, loving, generous person whom was loved by many. That love and support was expressed by the hundreds of people, family, friends and acquaintances coming to his funeral. I also will be very grateful for your support in helping to improve something what's very much needing to be improved.
