At EBRC, we believe that every member of the Oakland community deserves the opportunity to develop life-long fitness, mental health and social benefits through the elements of recreational and competitive rowing. We believe our members are capable of greatness when we provide them with opportunities and support, and we rely on community support to make life-changing outdoor experiences affordable and accessible for all.

<div>The ultimate challenge is making rowing accessible to everyone through reasonable fees, a youth program and scholarships while building a fleet of equipment for both our masters and youth rowers. With this fundraising effort, Competition for a Cause, we hope to raise enough funds to replace all compromised launches and to add to our fleet of boats and new equipment.
