Citizens Lake Assessment Program for Dyken Pond

We are a small group of lake resident volunteers taking part in the New York Citizens Statewide Lake Assessment Program (CSLAP) through the New York State Federation of Lake Associations (NYSFOLA) at Dyken Pond.

We will take deep water samples at intervals throughout the warm season in 2024 and those samples will be sent to the Upstate Freshwater Institute for analysis.

This fund helps cover the CSLAP fee and NYSFOLA membership dues for 2024. The program carries a five-year commitment, and any money raised over and above the annual goal will be put toward the following year.

Our NYSFOLA annual membership fee is now $75.00 and the CSLAP fee is $300.00. I've decided to keep this original fundraiser page and link which reflects activity from 2023. The goal amount can be edited, but the funds raised amount cannot. As of this update, funds raised for the 2024 season are at $70.00 leaving $305.00 still needed. Onward from 2025 the only cost for us will be the $75.00 annual NYSFOLA membership fee, as the CSLAP fees are sunsetting. Our lake report for 2023 will be available in February.
