Dye & Shave Kiet for Niece's Lymphoma

Hi Everyone,
I am Kiet Le. Two years ago I moved here to Nacogdoches,Texas/SFASU to begin my first professional job.
At the same time my niece Katheline was diagnosed with non hodgkin's lymphoma and she finished that battle after 6 treatments of chemo and 6 treatments of radiation.
On January 26th, 2014 she was diagnosed with Gray Zone Lymphoma. She is one of the bravest, beautiful and most inspiring people I’ve known. Always willing to work hard to provide a smile on others especially her family and friends. Despite having some trouble with getting medical insurance. She finally has received insurance due to a great social case worker but we all know that insurance cannot cover all expenses related to illnesses especially cancer treatments. She covered her chemo again on June 19th and will receive two more treatmeants. After that they will begin to harvest her stem cells, followed by stronger chemo and finally ending with the stem cell transplant.
I know she is stronger than anyone I know mentally. When she is well and has spare time she bakes and sales delectables for some extra funds but that is spare change compared to the bills that are continuing to pile up. Recently her car broke down and she was lucky enough to be able to get a newer car but that only adds more to the bills. I thought to myself how can I help her?
As an uncle and friend to her, I wanted to help her the best way that I can. So I came up with the idea of doing something that can raise some funds and emotionally support my niece.
In my lifetime, I've never dyed my hair and the little hair I do have, I love with all my heart. So why not give up my hair voluntarily to emotioanlly support her.
I am currently challenging anyone I know and anyone willing to give to this cause to help dye my hair lime green (Lymphoma Awareness Color) which will be done at the goal of $1000.
I won't stop there! At $2000 I will shave my head completely bald and for every $1000 after that I will keep it shaved for an additional month.
I may not be able to pull off the look like my beautiful niece as you can see above. Every dollar counts and will be appreciated. All proceeds will be go to my niece to help her with her expenses and her Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
