Dusty's Celebration of Life Fund

Robert "Dusty" Bauer passed away unexpectedly on August 15, 2017.  He was many things to many people including an educator, mentor, hair stylist, dog lover, friend, artist, and patron of the arts.
Dusty started his career in education as a Visual Arts teacher and eventually became an administrator. He retired in 2016, after serving many years as Assistant Principal at Bak Middle School of the Arts. During his time at Bak he never missed a student performance or art show.  Dusty was a mentor to many students. He loved their positive energy. His support went beyond Bak as he kept in touch with many students throughout high school and beyond.
Along with the arts Dusty's other great love and passion were his dogs. They were part of his family, they were his babies and constant companions. Whenever visiting Dusty's home, you could count on being greeted by his pack of gentle giants (Golden Retrievers, Dobermans, Weimaraners, and mixed breeds). He loved them all!

Please join us in celebrating Dusty's memory by donating to Dusty's Celebration of Life Fund. We plan to purchase a seat in his name in the Bak MSOA Theater. Any additional funds will enable us to honor him with a greater naming opportunity on the Bak campus, allowing his legacy to live on for years to come. The Doberman Rescue League will be the recepient of any remaining proceeds.
