Duke Evers New Full-Length Album

Duke Evers is comprised of two members, Josh Starkel guitar/ vocals and Kyle Veazey on drums/vocals. No great story is without turbulence and in the 6 years since we formed, we've seen a lot of what the music business is about.
Our first EP, Handful of Pennies was the base for strong song structure and rippin guitar. It gained interest from several labels with us ultimately deciding on an indie label out of San Diego. So we packed up and headed to the sand and surf of Mission Beach San Diego California to record our first full-length album, Velvet Hips. This new album instantly gained interest from a major label and Duke Evers soon signed to Another Century who was soon acquired by Sony Music. We were beyond stoked since signing to a major label is all we'd talked about for years.
But not all dreams are how you imagined once you reach them. After much thought and discussion, we decided to move off of Sony Music and back to our roots of being an Independent Artist. Owning our music became the dream and we're now making that happen.
We secured producer Casey Bates who has produced Grammy-winning artist Portugal the Man amongst other local and national artists. This is our album that is 100% no rules and everything we've ever wanted to create. It screams, rips, shreds, and echo's who we are in our lives and careers.
We laid down 8 songs in 6 days and need your help, our friends and family to finish the process and complete the album. Our goal is $6,000 which will go towards, mix and mastering, artwork, new merch, CD's and yes, even vinyl. Our manager Jess McMahon will oversee the distribution of these funds along with organizing the release of this album. We share this to provide full transparency on this campaign.
