Due to ALS, Mother Leaves Behind Two Children

Mona succumbed to ALS April 2, 2021.

Our sweet sister Mona Rapin, a single mother of two, was diagnosed with Multifocal Motor Neuropathy (MMN) late last summer. MMN is a rare disease causing progressive muscle wasting and atrophy (weakness).   Her physical condition has rapidly deteriorated since her diagnosis. She is struggling with everyday things we take for granted.    There is concern from her physicians that her diagnosis may be ALS.       Due to her worsening condition she has been unemployed. Unfortunately she was in the middle of a home renovation when she became ill.  Her only bathroom, bedroom,  kitchen, and exterior siding remain unfinished but will need to be completed for her safety. Any  support for this project and for the well-being of her family would be greatly appreciated!
