Dream to fly
Donation protected
Passion defines my goal. Since I first piloted a small plane as a kid, I was hooked. I took every opportunity to volunteer in the aviation community, but my feet were far too firmly planted on the ground when I desired to be in the sky.
On July 1, 2013, I took the entirety of my savings account and put it toward my dream fund... crazy, but worth it! Three months later, on October 22, 2013, I received my Private Pilot License- the first of many. Next up? My Instrument License! (Basically, my "fly in the clouds" license)
I'm not typically one to ask for help or funding, but after writing so many scholarship letters for schooling, I've started to look at sites like Gofundme as scholarships. All funds raised here will go toward my instrument license, and I don't plan to withdraw any of the funds until I have reached my goal on here, or can personally contribute enough for the combined amount to reach my goal.
In the meantime, I'll be completing my Master's in Business at WWU, doing my best to stay current as a Private Pilot, and keeping my eyes on the clouds.
My dream is to make difference in my community working in the business side of aviation: promoting general aviation, liveable wages for pilots, women in aviation, linking people's passions to their careers, and developing more attainable funding programs for pilots.
If you have any questions, please contact me. I'd love to hear from you!
