Dream Soccer Training in England

My name is Colton and I am a passionate 14-year-old soccer player. This past week I participated in a local camp with two coaches from Hyde United Football Club  which is located in the north of England. I worked and trained hard with them, and they recognized my hard work, team mentality,  and skill set, so they invited me to England to train with their team. While I am there, I will train side-by-side with their team for six hours a day, three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. This is not only an honor, but a dream come true.

This opportunity will help me improve my technical and tactical skills, but will also help me push my game as I enter high school, prepare for college, and look at opportunities beyond that. I study hard and get good grades, but soccer has always been my passion; my mom says I was born with a ball at my feet as I’m rarely without one. My mom, a public school teacher, and my dad, who works in the construction industry, do everything they can to support my drive and passion for the game, but this needs to be on me. 

Unfortunately, this is a very tight time line as we leave August 4th and I need to secure my airline tickets and housing as soon as possible. I have set a drop-dead deadline of July 21st, but would appreciate your support sooner to be eligible. I’ve been playing soccer for 10 years and the sport truly is my life. I eat, sleep, and breathe soccer.  Please help me to realize my dreams and donate what you can to help me fund this trip to train in England.
