Not every house is a home, but Allayne & Ray fell in love with a home that happens to be a boat! A magical boat!
We were unexpectedly given notice to move from our beautiful home in Albany, and quickly began our journey to our dream home; a boat! As moving often is, the search has been intense, but the joy at what we've found immense. Now we are homeowners in the Bay Area, something we never thought possible!
We are a fun, happy, loving couple who have enjoyed some amazing experiences together and share a mutual passion for the sea, its conservation, and its abundance of marine wildlife. This passion has taken us on excursions in the bay and out to sea from the magnificence of breaching whales to countless memorable sunsets.
Our path now is to continue that passion by getting closer to nature and living on the water.
After traveling and viewing vessels in marinas throughout the Bay Area, we've found the most incredible boat, so unique and full of character, with plenty of room for the two of us and our seaward bound bunny, Bijou!
After scraping together everything we had and with generous help from friends and clients in order to purchase the boat, we are one step closer to enjoying our happy new home on the water but have a long way to go. Hooray!
While this classic trawler has beautiful lines and features, it needs some tender loving care to restore it to its original splendor. . . and we'd love for you to be a part of this exciting endeavor!
Every little tiny donation helps; there are always things to buy from brushes to sealant, plywood to paint.

1 Gallons of Primer: $40
(Needed: 2 gallons)
1 Gallon of Marine Boat Paint for Topsides: $200
(Needed: 6 gallons)
Window Sealant/Caulk: $80
Brushes/Rollers/Sandpaper/Stir Sticks/Rags/Rubber Gloves/Masking Tape: $5-10 each
Marine Grade Plywood and Materials: $200
1 Gallon Spar Varnish: $60
Fiberglass Repair and Supplies: $250
1 Gallon Teak Oil: $30
Interior Paint and Supplies: $150
New Cushions for the Salon and Dining Room: $350
Case of RedBull: $30
