Drain Your Brain, Find Your Mind

Hello Friends!  I am Roger Mayer.  I am a former professional baseball player, radio personality, record company executive, videographer and (most importantly) a father.  In 2005-2006, I went through a series of four brain surgeries that tore my life apart and turned my life around.  I lost every material element of my being.  I had nothing and was completely void of any direction or self-esteem.  I have written a book called Drain Your Brain, Find Your Mind that chronicles my life, discusses my challenge and explains the steps I took to reaffirm my existence and define my mission.  I am driven to share my mission and explain to others that you can endure the pitfalls of life and push forward to greater heights.

I could not have written this book had I not gone through the brain surgeries.  The ironic things is that, because of my situation, I did not work for four years and therefore do not have the means to publish the book and deliver my message myself.  That's where you can help...

I need you to partner with me to print the book and market my purpose of explaining to others that when you are faced with adversity in your life you can go within to find the tools and inspiration to survive and flourish.

I have joined forces with the Sonoma, California-based non-profit The I AM Foundation (www.iamfoundation.org) to develop a book gifting program.  In this initiative, we will gift on copy of the book for each copy sold to brain trauma and stroke recovery patients and the likes of soldiers coming home with Battlefield Brain Trauma Syndrome through no-profits and support groups that meet the needs of these individuals and their families. 

So, there you go...that is my mission in life.  To share my story with others in the hope that they can meet their challenges and move forward to live a rich and abundant life with ease, grace and the love they deserve.
