Our beloved Dr. Jessie still needs our help and support. We are being called to act swiftly and with heart. Ready why and what you can do to help:
Many of you may know that Dr. Jessie went through with her radical hysterectomy surgery for cervical cancer. While her surgery went well, her pathology report confirmed Stage III Cancer. This means that the cancer progressed into the uterus and cervix and one lymph node. The uterus and cervix are gone, but there are microscopic cancer cells in the vicinity. The surgeon prescribed 6 months of chemo and 3 rounds of radiation.
When I first heard this news, I was furious and frustrated. Here we have this vibrant woman who has sacrificed her time, energy, resources and a lifetime of service to students worldwide and who now has to get through Stage III Cancer. No one deserves this card but it is here and it is real.
It is also upsetting to hear that the chemo her doctor has prescribed will be a highly toxic route to take and likely give her more long term suffering and pain than any of us who haven't gone through such a sickness can possibly imagine.
After much research and consideration, Dr. Jessie feels the surgeon's protocol is too harsh and too extended to undertake. She has found several effective alternative approaches that will have a better long-term outcome (vastly improved immune system, killed cancer and
Cancer stem cells, and complete detoxification). The healing time will be significantly less, about 4 months.
The protocol Dr. Jessie wants costs an additional $18,000 for the treatment and hospitalization ($6,000 per week for 3 weeks). The protocol has over 20 years of success overcoming cancers of many types and stages with no return of cancer and improved long-term health.
