Officer D. Stacy - Motorcycle Crash

Richmond County Marshal Doug Stacy and his family need your love and support. Doug, a very experienced motorcyclist, has been fighting for his life since Friday night, when his bike was hit by a car on Bobby Expressway in Augusta, Georgia. Doug has undergone numerous surgeries to stop internal bleeding and repair a broken femur. Additional surgeries are scheduled to repair other areas of his body. He remains on a ventilator and in serious condition. After joining the Columbia County Sheriff Dept at age 19, Doug was a part of the Swat team and became a motorcycle police officer. He later transferred to the Richmond County Marshall's Office where he became a weapons trainer and internal affairs. He is a member of the Iron Pigs, a national motorcycle club for law enforcement, firefighters and EMTs. The Stacy family needs your help during this painful time. Please contribute what you can to help Doug, wife Jan and family cover medical and living expenses. It will be a long, long road to recovery for Doug, and your support is appreciated. Thank you for all the love, prayers and well wishes.
