Doobies Medical Bill

Sadly 3 days ago our baby Doobie stopped eating and drinking, he started throwing up non stop & had diarrhea. Today April 16th 2021, I took him to the emergency room (VetMed Emergency & specialty car to be exact) he tested positive for Parvovirus. He is currently still in the ER on fluids, the vet is also trying to bring his blood pressure back up. The vet sent me this estimate with the "low to high" range on what his bill will be for his treatment. If you are able to help our family out with this unexpected bill we would highly appreciate it, he is not "just a dog" he is another one of my children, another one of my kids siblings. Thank you so so so much to everyone who has joined us and helped us during this difficult time. We want to say thank you for helping us meet our original goal of 2,000! Thanks to you all we exceeded our goal and reached $2,670! We have an update on our precious Doobie and would like to share it with you all. The doctor said he took 2 bites of food today which is great but unfortunately he still has bloody diarrhea at least once every hour. Because of the bloody diarrhea additional meds will be needed in order to help. We have been given an estimate for those additional meds and the estimate ranges from $660 to $1,587.65. Unfortunately because of the additional medication needed we have added $1,500 to our goal. Although we received bad news we will stay positive & Again, we want to thank every single person who has helped us out. We appreciate you all so much, this truly means alot to our family! ❤ as soon as we get a new update we will post to let you guys know, THANK YOU ❤
We have received an update from the doctor, Doobie is stable. His vitals and vomiting are under control. He is showing a little more interest in eating however he is still having sever bloody diarrhea. The doctor let us know it's a huge concern because the home meds don't have the same effect as the IV meds he has right now going through his IV to keep him hydrated. He has strongly suggested another 2-3 days hospitalized but the cost ranges from $2,127. 27 to $3,390.59 depending on how much medication he needs during that time. We are going to increase our go fund me once more another 2,500 to try and cover another 2-3 days. I appreciate everyone so so so much! As soon as I get another update we will update you all. Please pray with us that this will do for him.
