Mission: Romania '18 - The Donnells

Greetings Family and Friends!
Thank you for taking a few moments of your precious time to visit our GoFundMe page!! As you may have already guessed by the site title, Angela and I have been presented with an exciting and, we feel, God-provided and directed, opportunity this summer, (July 26 – August 8, 2018) to join our church (Choice Baptist - http://choicebaptist.org/ ) and Manna Worldwide ministries (https://mannaworldwide.com/trips)
on a mission trip to the country of Romania. In order to make this trip a reality, we need your help! Before I get into the details of how you can join us in the work God will do through this mission, I want to provide a brief overview of the trip purpose and plan:
Mission Purpose and Plan: From July 26 thru August 8, 2018, we will travel with other members of Choice Baptist Church and Manna Worldwide ministries to Romania with the intended purpose of sharing God’s love with brothers and sisters in Christ and standing with them to minister God’s truth and love to some of the most physically and spiritually poor communities in Romania. We will accomplish our purpose by:
- Visiting an orphan Children’s Home to share God’s love.
- Serving in a Children’s Nutrition Center that provides meals and shares the Bible.
- Providing minor medical care and services.
- Serving in a Community wide Church Camp and vacation bible school for local Gypsy communities and disadvantaged Romanian youth.
- Sharing testimonies with and encouraging local Churches of Romania.
- Ministering to the Gypsy community through village visitations.
- Conducting a community carnival to share Christ in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
The need in the Rogova, Lupsa, and Campulung regions of Romania we will be visiting is overwhelming. Can you envision children going hungry, living in tremendous poverty and having no hope for a better future? This is the daily reality of many in the areas we will be visiting and Angela and I desire to impact lives for Christ in this beautiful and historic country and follow God's call in His plan to restore hope in the most hopeless communities of Romania.
As I mentioned before, Angela and I are excited about what God is going to do in and through us as we follow His lead to participate in this ministry this summer! We will be flying to Bucharest and then traveling by bus to each neighboring city. To reduce costs, Angela and I plan to get to Europe and back via military AMC flights. However, costs for this trip for Angela and I are still estimated to be around $3000.00 for lodging, food, local flights to get to Romania from the AMC terminal, etc. To secure our place on this mission, we will need to raise that $3000.00 before June 15, 2018.
What You Can Do To Help:
1. Pray for us, our fellow trip participants and the people of Romania we will be interacting with! Specifically, we desperately need your prayers for safety and that God would use each and every one of us to be ambassadors for and vessels of His perfect love!
2. Support us financially! Anything you can do to help will be greatly appreciated. In addition to giving directly to this GoFundMe campaign, you can also:
- Send a check or money order to Choice Baptist Church (address at link above and below) with "Ryan and Angela Donnell To Romania" in the memo.
- Visit the Choice Baptist Church website (http://choicebaptist.org/) and select Giving in the menu at the top right. For Giving Type, select Choice To Romania and add "Ryan and Angela Donnell To Romania" to the Memo section.
3. Spread the word with family, friends, co-workers, etc.
