Donna Pryor has dedicated her life to helping people as a social worker and therapist. Now she needs a little help from us. Donna was diagnosed with vocal cord cancer in July of 2017. She successfully completed 7 weeks of chemotherapy and radiation, finishing in October. Unfortunately, the radiation severely burned the tissue of her throat. She has suffered extremely painful swelling of her epiglottis and life threatening breathing complications.
This forced Donna to undergo a tracheostomy in order to breathe last month, which meant weeks of painful recovery and rehab. She has recently been released to her home, but she has a long road ahead of her. Her husband, Gordon has to take unpaid leave from work to help care for her.
We are asking for donations to help with both basic living and medical expenses. Any amount you are able to give will be so helpful to Donna and Gordon. If you aren’t able to give, please share this page where possible. Thank you.
