For Donna…because she would sooner bear the burden of a million worries than ever ask for help, so as to not burden others; for an amazing friend, selfless mother and devoted wife as she battles the fight of a lifetime.  

 Earlier this year, a malignant tumor was found on Donna’s kidney.  During surgery to remove the mass, doctors realized the seriousness of the cancer required removal of the entire organ.

Hopes were high that this was a blip in her life… a temporary worry.

Months later, a follow-up scan showed the cancer had returned, this time more aggressive, spreading to multiple spots around the original site.

We’re helpless to take away the pain and sickness chemo has caused her, but we can help make the financial burden a little less overwhelming for someone who still comes to work sick and hurting, worrying about making ends meet for her family while she battles this rare disease.
