Alla’s fundraiser for Dmitriy Basov

I'm Dmytro Basov from Ukraine, and it's a great pleasure to greet you! I was born on the 30th December 2020 in Vyshgorod town and, of course, I can’t write (I asked a friend about the help). In addition, I can’t sit, crawl, and hold my head in a normal way. I also start very often having problems with breathing and swallowing. It happens because of a disease which called Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA), type 1. 

My parents Anna and Victor are in love and they are married more than 10 years and the best gift of their fate is me. 
Our happiness has been endless until we heard the awful diagnosis…

The first symptoms of disease appeared on the second month of the life. However we got know about diagnosis only on April 12, 2021.

My parents were told that I would not live to the age of two without treatment…

It is a great chance for me because the treatment exists in modern medicine. The drug is called ZOLGENSMA and it costs more than 2 million dollars. Unfortunately, the government of Ukraine does not support us.

The parents decided they would never give up!  They will do everything to save my life!

Also I hope for the help and support of all kind and warm-hearted people who is ready to save the life. If 200 thousand people around the world donate $10 to me, then I will live. I will really have the chance to survive and I am dreaming about going to school to develop myself! I believe that happiness will return to our family after the treatment and my recovery.
