Help Anthony's Long Road to Recovery.
Anthony was in a tragic car accident after he fell asleep on the wheel and crashed into a tree on the morning of April 9,2016. He was air lifted to the nearest hospital and required immediate emergency surgery. He suffered severe internal organ damage , and shattered muscles in his stomach and back region . Anthony's severe internal injuries were a result of his seatbelt impact. Doctors and nurses belived he make not be able to make it. However, we continued to have faith in spite of the devestating news. We stayed optimistic and asked for as many prayers as possible.
After 10 blood transfusions and 16 surgeries, Anthony miraculously survived and continued to fight for his life. The entire medical team and staff were astounded by his recovery since he was considered the sickest person in the hospital. To this day, Anthony continues to shock the doctors with his strength and fighting spirit. Anthony still requires further surgeries in the near future to assist him on the road to a full recovery.
This campaign is used to aid Anthony to raise money for medical expenses, physical therapy, medical devices, and future surgeries. Anthony will be unable to work for the next 3-6 months due to his extensive injuries.
We are blessed as we witness Anthony's second chance at life, and continue to witness miracles as he heals. He is determined to get his life back to how it use to be and continue on living a long and happy life. Thank you all for taking the time to read his story. He will greatly appreciate the love and support of his friends and family.
