Donate a blanket to the homeless

Pooja and I are part of a self funded charity group that was started by my parents more than 11 years ago. From humble beginnings, today the charity feeds more than 3000 underprivileged individuals monthly in South Africa our home town. During July in South Africa it is the start of winter, there are many unprivileged individuals and families who do not have the luxury of essential items like a blanket to keep them warm as it can be bitterly cold especially for people who live on the street and have no shelter. It is with this in mind,  during July the charity runs a special blanket drive to collect as much funds as possible to be able to distribute as many blankets as we can so that, we can help in some small way to provide some warmth. Our goal this year is to provide at least a 1000 blankets so your support and help towards this worthy cause will really be appreciated. The cost per blanket is 65 zar which is three british pounds or 4.5 US dollars.

We plan to distribute the blankets in July so we aim to collect as much funds before that so we can secure the blankets. 

This initiative is really something close to our hearts especially now that we live in the UK and cannot be physically involved and we will be extremly grateful if you could help us reach our goal by contributing to this cause
