Thank you for taking a minute to find out more about my fundraising drive. With your help we will successfully be able to donate a Brothers Rich bike to an incredible charity, the Emeril Lagasse Foundation. The Emeril Lagasse Foundation seeks to inspire, mentor and enable all young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive and creative individuals, and to make a lasting impact on their lives.
I am honored to have been given the opportunity to donate The Charleston, a Brothers Rich bike, to be auctioned off at the 2014 Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s annual fundraiser Carnivale Du Vin. Being a small company I can’t do it alone and am asking for your help.
Your donation, however big or small, will help to cover my expenses to build the bike and get it down to New Orleans for the big event. While you and I may not be able to afford the $1,000 ticket to attend the dinner and silent auction, together we can offer an item which may raise as much as $4,000, $5,000 or maybe even $10,000!!! And your name will be there on a hand written scroll, rolled up and placed inside the handlebar of the bike, as a sort of time capsule, capturing the names of all those who contributed.
