Dominica Hurricane Maria Relief

Donation protected
On the evening of September 18, 2017 the small island nation of Dominica was ravaged by a direct hit from category 5 Hurricane Maria. This once beautiful island, which my family calls home, has been reduced to destroyed homes and mass devastation.

My father is the pastor of a local church in the village of Wesley where the roof was completely ripped from the structure and all of the equipment and instruments inside destroyed. I have been told that many people in Wesley have lost their homes and all of the belongings. My parents and siblings all live in Wesley and have lost almost everything. Anyone who has ever met my father, Pastor Cameron Robin, will tell you that he has the heart of a servant. So much so, that after moving to America and becoming a US citizen, he gave up the comforts of the United States to move back home and pastor the people he loves. Even while our family is going through overwhelming loss, his focus has already shifted to helping his community.

Although many lines of communication are still down on the island, my brother Rich Robin and I, want to raise as much money as possible, so when the time comes we can send aid to our family and the village that we love and call home. Unfortunately, the village of Wesley is cut off from the port in the capital city of Roseau where a majority of the relief efforts are focused at the moment

This page will be updated as more information becomes available on how we can send help to the village of Wesley.

Please join us in helping to rebuild both homes and hope in the hearts of Dominicans.
