Emergency Relief for Dominica

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Peter Inglis. I am a Dominican living in South Carolina. I grow up in Dominica and have family and friends living there still.

As you may know, on September 18th, 2017, The Commonwealth of Dominica took a direct hit from hurricane Maria a category 5 hurricane which from all accounts has literally destroyed the country.  The population of 72,000 is in dire need of necessities such as food & water.

As Dominicans, my wife and I are asking for donations that will be used wholly for the purchases of the following items:

-Non-perishable foods
-Water
-Tarpaulines
-Baby and Adult Diapers
-Flashlights and batteries
-First aid kit
-Insect-repellent sprays
-Hygiene products (soap, toothpaste, toothbrushs, etc)
-Tools

With donations rasied,  I will withdraw and purchase items and forwarded to certified/ reputable agenies and groups such Dominican Red Cross,  Dominica Aid, and the Dominican Government, city/village councils
and other on the island to be distributed to all Dominicans communities in need. "That's everyone on the island"

Items purchased  will be shipped by boat from USA to main port in Dominica where they will be picked up by agencies noted above for distribution.

All Dominican's on island and abroad  including myself, a fellow Dominican would be most grateful for your generous support and help.
