DogAbility needs your help!
We are excited to share that we've had so many wonderful experiences seeing such happy faces coming from DogAbility sessions and Pooch Parties. We are proud to announce that our "Fear of Dogs" sessions have had 100% success rate! The pooch parties with live dogs for both special needs as well as typical kids have been a joy to all involved. We are looking forward to building our Scout and senior activities as well as creating workshops and training clinics. We have new dogs and handlers joining in who are looking forward to becoming one of our valued canine teams.
We are comfortably settling in to our new facility in Syosset, NY and we encourage you to explore our newly launched website (www.DogAbility.org ). At this time, we are in a new growth phase of this program and embarking on a new outreach and marketing strategy. We are asking all of you to rally with us right now during this challenging and exciting time as we are dependent on donations from friends and relatives like you in order to keep the costs low for our participants.
We are proud to have received non-profit status from New York State and tax-exempt status from the IRS and we depend on the generosity of our donors to keep this wonderful program alive. Remember, our staff and dog handlers are ALL unpaid volunteers and we are striving to keep this valuable program running for the benefit of our various participants. We are asking that you donate whatever you can to help DogAbility add to our program in the coming year. All donations are fully tax-deductible as per IRS regulations.
