Documentation of Ancient Armenia in Eastern Turkey

Me and Argun are planning to set off to visit historical Armenian heritage in Eastern Turkey this year for roughly 14 days to explore. Places include Kars, Ani, Around lake Van, Mush, Sason, Erzurum, Erzincan etc. This includes churches, monuments, villages, people and life in the border villages. We will be making travel vlogs, taking photos, shooting drone footage. The aim is to present the story of the Armenians who lived in the region and what has been left behind and to also see the current people living in the region today.
Your support will help us to make this journey happen. We will need support with car rental, fuel, accommodation, flights etc. We will share our receipts transparently so you can see what we are spending the raised money on.
Budget:
1) Car rental for 14 days £450-£600
2) Fuel £150
3) Flight £200
4) Food and Accommodation £200-£300
5) Misc i.e Private boat ride to see the other churches around Van lake £100
At the end of it Argun will share his video blogs on YouTube and post his travel articles on his website. I will share my photo and video stories with everyone.
If you have any suggestions of places to visit do let us know. We have mapped all the places of interest that total around 60 places so far and are adding more as we plan.
