Thank you , family and friends for your love and support! I'm happy to share that after five long months, my parents moved out of their extended stay into their new home. We can't thank you enough for your prayers, financial assistance, and care that you've shown to our family and the Dayton/Trotwood community. My name is Charles Diggs Jr. I'm the youngest of three. My parents are Charles and Cheryl Diggs, they are the nicest, most generous, loving couple - married 49 years! My family means everything to me, we talk about everything, laugh, have each other’s back...so much love.
I grew up in Dayton Ohio and to see the destruction of my parents home from the tornado that touched down on Monday night, ripping through the neighborhoods and destroying everything in its path...I’m so grateful they survived. Now, I want to help them through this next hurdle - to heal and rebuild their home/life.
My parents are actively working with insurance companies regarding their home and car (it’s under a pile of rubble), but we know that will take time and they will incur many unplanned expenses along the way (just to make it through the day and other upfront costs).
Please join me and give any amount you can to Charles and Cheryl who have freely given to others. Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated and will be used solely to get them back on their feet. If you cannot donate please feel free to share with others and keep them in your thoughts/prayers.
