Deserie Vasquez Memorial Fund

Deserie Marie Vasquez (Dezi Wesi) was born March 7th 1981. Deserie was the 3rd of 4 daughters from David and Corrine Vasquez. On November 17th, at 10:01 pm, Deserie left us to be with our dad in heaven. Our father just left us 9 months ago. However I believe it was to happen this way for a reason, so that our dad could be waiting for Dezi and so she wont be alone. Deserie was a type 1 diabetic since age 12. She fought a long fight with diabetes. However that didnt stop her from being a nurse and helping people. She loved being a nurse. She worked for the LA Sheriff Dept. as a nurse in the jails. She was so loving, generous, fun. She loved amusement parks and spending time and spoiling her niece and nephews. In December of 2012 she had a stroke while driving. Along with that came kidney failure and was on dialysis and a had weak heart. . Her body grew tired. However she was always good spirits and never complained. She lived with my mom and they had a bond like nothing else I have ever seen. My mom took care of Dez the last 5 years. I will thank her for it, the rest of my life. We as a family are still recovering mentally and financially from our dad passing. Any amount you can donate to help lay my beautiful sister to rest the way she wanted, would be so much appreciated. More than you could ever possibly know. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. ~ The Vasquez Family
