Derick's Road to Recovery

Early Sunday morning 02/08/15 Derick lost control of his vehicle, hitting a telephone pole. At this point no one is sure what happened exactly, but the vehicle was going fast enough to be split in half. 

Currently Derick is in the intensive care unit of the local hospital undergoing treatment. Doctors performed surgery Sunday morning on Derick's liver, and will be operating again on Tuesday morning. 

Derick is currently in a coma and has several broken ribs, damage to his liver and kidney, bruised lungs, and is experiencing a lot of internal bleeding as well as considerable damage to his face.

After seeing the damage to the vehicle, we are all just very thankful Derick is alive and in one piece at this point. All funds will go directly to covering Derick's medical expenses, as this is sure to be very costly. Please contribute what you can, it will be a great relief to Derick and his family.
