Derek's Celebration of Life Fund

This is Derek with his wife, Holly and his little girl Claire. Whether you know Derek or not, it would only take one encounter for him to leave a footprint on your heart. He always has a smile on his face and a kind word for everyone.

In late October, Derek had gastric sleeve surgery. Everything went well and he soon returned home. Three days later, Derek took a turn for the worse and was admitted to OHSU. He has been in the ICU ever since. The doctors finally determined that there was a leak from the stomach into the abdominal cavity.
