Dennis Dellinger's Medical Exp Fund

In early December 2016, a month after celebrating his 50th birthday, Dennis was admitted to the hospital after experiencing chest and abdominal discomfort. A chest x-ray revealed blood clots in his lungs. As the doctors sought to understand the cause of the clots, additional tests showed a large abdominal tumor and he was diagnosed with cancer.
As cancer often does, following the initial symptoms that drove Dennis to seek medical advice, the pain level escalated while his condition deteriorated rapidly. Dennis would go on to spend over a month in the hospital and would not be able to return to work-- leaving his wife, Susan, to shoulder all household expenses while medical expenses continued to accumulate.
In December Dennis began chemotherapy but had to stop due to complications with his kidneys. Treatment was restarted in January, but stopped again because of additional infections, and finally was resumed again in February. By May of 2017, the blood clots finally cleared and he was able to withstand a surgery to remove some of the cancerous tumors.
Dennis credits his survival of this unexpected fight for his life to the grace of God and the prayers of friends and family that continue to uplift him. However, he is now facing large medical bills in addition to continuing to focus on his battle against this monster.
As they continue their fight, we are setting up a Go Fund Me page to allow friends and the community to also continue their support of Dennis and his wife, Susan and help reduce the burden of the financial challenges they face.
