Del Travar is a singer, songwriter and performer composer from Richmond, Virginia.  The son of musicians, he performed his first solo in church, at the age of seven. Energized by the audience and a love for music, Del continued to seek opportunities to share the his gift of music with others.  

 Following high school, his personal aspirations led him to North Carolina Central University where he obtained earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management & Finance and became a member of a prestigious fraternity. After graduation, he took  a leap of faith and set his sights on achieving his musical dreams.  Inspired by the energy of American Idol, Del auditioned for Randy, Paula, Simon, and celebrity judge Mark McGrath.  They sent him to Hollywood where he successfully made it through the semi-final round.  

 Del has continued to stay in the limelight as a highly desired backup singer and landed actor/TV spots.  His  charm garnered him a TV the television role as  commercial — as  the face of Richmond’s American Family Fitness health club.  

 Drawing from a wide range of inspirations such as Donnie Hathaway, Phil Collins and Hall & Oates, Del Travar’s style is eclectic, wide-ranging, innovative, and honest.  Known as a humble artist,  Del’s messages  through song has  touched a wide range of extensive and diverse range of listeners.   In 2012 Del went on to become the Radio One, My Majic 102.3 New Music Monday winner and worked with Radio One , with their “Get Out to Vote” campaign.  He also performed  at multiple locations throughout the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia area..

 Del has been busy with a number of performances and appearances on the East  & West Coast, Washington, DC’s National Cherry Blossom Festival,  The half-time show performance at the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association (CIAA) Basketball Tournament Half-time Show in Charlotte, NC,  The Amazing Grace Conservatory along side Niecy Nash & Wendy Racquel Robinson in Los Angles, California, and The DC Loves Festival with Raheem DeVaughn and Marsha Ambrosia to name a few.  He also had the honor to perform at the 2013 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in Washington, DC where he shared the stage with President Barack Obama & Family, Mariah Carey, Aretha Franklin, Janelle Monae, Train, Renee Fleming, Arturo Sandoval and several other talented artist.

 Del released his highly anticipated EP titled "At the End of the Day” in March 2012 and it certainly did not disappoint and established himself as a true R&B artist.  He recently released his New EP, “Bag of Tricks”, October 2014.   Del Travar is carving out his place in music industry as a unique artist and entertainer.  

 Del has self- funded his entire project with the help of close friends and family.  Please help Del reach his goal by donating whatever you can to a body of work that has proven to inspire, captivate and encourage listeners.  Your donation will allow Del to continue providing professional music material to the public, fund new music videos, marketing, radio promotions, upcoming performances and new visuals.  It will also help open up avenues for him to help his community and charitable affiliations.
