Hello family and friends! Welcome to my Go-Fund me page! My name is Deja Edwards, a sophomore English-Pre Law major with a minor in Spanish at Spelman College from Corona, California. I am currently the presidential ambassador of the Morehouse-Spelman Pre Law Society. I am also an active member of the Spelman Chapter of NAACP, Active Minds, Inc., King of Queens AUC, and a student volunteer at Dunbar Elementary School.
As a Spanish minor at Spelman College, I have been blessed with an opportunity to study abroad in Malaga, Spain. This trip will take place from May 7, 2017-June 10, 2017. I am humbly requesting the help of family, friends, and any other individual who has had or will have a hand in my success, to donate to this enriching experience. During my month in Spain, I will be taking two courses that will assist in the completion of my Spanish minor at Spelman College. I will also be participating in excursions throughout Spain, learning about and experiencing the culture, as well as actively engaging in the language.
Not only will this experience lend itself to my educational experience at Spelman College, but it will also grant me exposure to other cultures and enable me to be well rounded in my future career path as an attorney. My ultimate goal with my minor is to become fluent in the Spanish language, allowing my services as a future attorney to be diverse- reaching as many individuals as possible.
Your gracious contributions will go solely towards program fee's and travel expenses. If you are unable to donate monetary blessings, I would appreciate prayers and best wishes! Thank you all for the consideration and investment in my dreams and academic success!
