My name is Sharon and my husband Demetrius "Dee" has always been a very hard worker, and great provider for his family. He was a truck driver for 15 years. In December, 2009 we received some very life changing news. He was diagnoised with Progressive Multiple Sclerosis(MS). The disease has really presented some challanges for him and our family. He has become confined to a wheelchair as the disease has taken it's coarse. It is a struggle for him to get around . We have to call the fire dept. for assistance to
get downstairs for doctor appointments. We are in desperate need of converting our attached 1 car garage to a downstairs bedroom & bathroom, so that he may have access to get around and out of the house safely for doctors appiontments, and should there be an emergency(ex.fire). We are financially unable to fund this much needed garage conversion project and reaching out for any support from the community. All donations will be greatly appreciated big and small.
